Ronto is a region mentioned by Ishmael Ashur and the slave Brand. In a speech to the slaves of The Pitt, Ashur proclaims that The Pitt with its industry, security, and strength is the envy of the Commonwealth, the Capital Wasteland, and Ronto. The name Ronto likely refers to the Canadian city of Toronto, which would have been under the control of the United States after the annexation of Canada in 2076, just prior to the Great War.
