Robotics Expert is a Fallout 3 Perk.
With the Robotics Expert perk, you do an additional 25% damage to any robot. But, even better, sneaking up on a hostile robot undetected and activating it will put that robot into a permanent shutdown state.
Notes

Additional dialogue
Additional dialogue options with certain robots. These often bypass speech checks or give humorous results.
- You can program Dean Dewey not to attack you.
- Disable Cerberus's combat inhibitor causing him to attack the ghouls in Underworld.
- Force Button Gwinnett to shut down, allowing you to grab the Declaration of Independence without a fight.
- Make Milo in the Nuka-Cola Plant think you are an employee.
- Fix Sawbones' faulty medical circuits so he won't accidentally damage you while attempting to heal your wounds.
- Bypass the RobCo Facility section of The Wasteland Survival Guide quest while getting full credit for the job.
- Talk to Sentry Bot. Friendly Bots will give you their standard dialogue. Enemy bots will do the same and then attack you.
