Did you know that the Vault-Tec/RobCo partnership is considered the most successful venture in the history of American industry?Vault 101 PA system

RobCo Industries was one of the biggest and most influential computer and robotics corporations in the United States of America. The company's name is probably an abbreviation of the term Robot Company, or was named after its founder, Robert House, the eventual master of the city of New Vegas in the Mojave Wasteland.

History

Founded in 2042 by Robert House, by 2049 RobCo had become one of the most powerful corporations in the world, rivaling even Poseidon Energy. By 2077, their patented software and robotic designs formed the cornerstone of American industry, with perhaps the most representative example being the 2075 Unified operating system, which was used in nearly every computer system on American soil in the years just before the Great War.

The company had numerous joint ventures, including ones with Vault-Tec (Under the terms of the partnership, RobCo designed and manufactured a personal information processor for Vault residents named the Pip-Boy 2000 and its successor, the Pip-Boy 3000), General Atomics International and the US Army (the Liberty Prime project). In 2075, RobCo purchased REPCONN Aerospace, allowing the company to enter the aerospace industry.
