Richard Wright was the son of Orville and Ethyl Wrights of the Wright Family of New Reno.

Around 2241, he died of a Jet overdose, a blow particularly hard-felt since the Wrights pride themselves on their clean living. He was sold the poisoned Jet by Renesco, acting on orders from the Salvatores, who sought to weaken the other families by triggering a gang war between them.
