Richard Maynard Watson was an employee of Hubris Comics who had to be admitted to Our Lady of Hope Hospital by some of his colleagues after one of the press machines malfunctioned, spraying hot steam and caustic chemicals into his face and hands and thereby causing severe burns and nerve damage. Due to the nature of his injuries, he was flown to Hopkins in Baltimore for specialist care.
