The reporter's pencil is a junk item in Fallout 4.

Donated in memory of M. Stahlman to the Treasures of Jamaica Plain exhibit among other mementos of their time as a reporter,[1] the reporter's pencil is a rare junk item. It is identical in size to normal pencils, but is cylindrical and brown instead of hexagonal and orange. Compared to an ordinary pencil, it is also ten times more valuable.
