The Renegade Brotherhood soldier was a character created by Leonard Boyarsky and Jason Anderson for an early draft of Fallout 2
Background
The Renegade Brotherhood soldier wore a partially deconstructed suit of T-51b Power Armor, indicating that he was a former member of the Brotherhood or a member gone rogue.
Interactions with the player character
He was supposed to save the Vault Dweller from a gang of lobotomites that would ambush him.
Appearances
The Renegade Brotherhood soldier was to appear in Fallout 2, but he was cut early on. To day, he only appears in a Fallout loading screen.
