I already fought my way outta there once. There ain't no force in The Pitt that could make me go back there again. Not you, not Ashur, not anything. Got it?

Reddup is a Pitt raider in The Pitt in 2277.

Background

Although loyal to Ashur (almost to a fault), Reddup is overzealous when it comes to administering punishment on supposed misdemeanors and crimes perpetrated by Pitt slaves. Seething with rage, he doesn't think twice about executing those he deems to have wronged him, and he has a special type of rage reserved for the subhuman trogs. He regularly snipes at any trog incursions with whooping glee.[1]

Reddup is a former slave who fought his way up through the arena. He is one of only three non-player characters to have achieved this; the others are Gruber and Squill.

Quests

  • Into the Pitt: If you have chosen not to don a slave disguise nor to claim to be a slave when confronted, Reddup will lead your "welcoming committee" by beating you into unconsciousness. This applies whether you are "applying for a job" or you killed the guards outside.

Other interactions

  • After you win your freedom, you can challenge Reddup to a one-on-one rematch; this will cause him to become hostile and attack. Killing him during the "rematch" will not cause others in the area to become hostile.
