The Petró-Chico jumpsuit is a piece of clothing in Fallout: New Vegas.

This jumpsuit has a dark green color, with white lines on its sleeves and a Petró-Chico patch sewn on the left breast and a name patch on the right that says "Miguel". This is a unique variant of the Petró-Chico outfit. It features multiple plates of protective metal, a bandolier across the chest, and a side-arm holster. It is basically a green version of the armored Vault 101 jumpsuit from Fallout 3. The additional armoring closely resembles that of the Armored Vault 13 jumpsuit.

Behind the scenesEdit

The Petró-Chico jumpsuit bears close resemblance to the real world jumpsuits worn by Pemex employees; gas station attendants, fuel delivery personnel, and refinery workers of the national Mexican oil company. The color, location of patches, and white stripes bear close resemblance to the real world counterparts. The nationalization of the oil industry in Mexico is a significant event in Mexican history, with an official civic holiday marking "El Aniversario de la Expropiación Petrolera de 1938", (Anniversary of petroleum expropriation of 1938) on March 18. It is likely, that in the pre-War world of Fallout, powerful transnationals, such as Poseidon Energy, were able to reverse nationalization of foreign natural resources.
