Ranger is a Fallout, Fallout 2 and Fallout Tactics Perk.
- You are better able to avoid unwanted attention while traveling through the wasteland. Your chance of a hostile random encounter is lowered by each level of this Perk. (Fallout)
- You gain a +15% toward your Outdoorsman skill. You are more likely to avoid random encounters if you choose, and tend to find those special encounters more than most. (patched Fallout 2, Fallout Tactics)
- This Perk adds +20 skill points to Outdoorsman. It also makes finding special random encounters slightly easier. (unpatched Fallout 2)
