The raided farmstead is a location in the Mojave Wasteland southeast of Wolfhorn Ranch.
Layout
Once you step inside the trailer, 5-15 Vipers will spawn outside and approach the trailer. Inside the trailer, there are three skeletons, which could be those of the family that lived there. There are also numerous skeletons outside the entrance to the trailer inside a small enclosure made of wrecked cars.
It is likely that the first time the player arrives at this location, they will find 2-3 Legion recruits heading east in the direction of Camp Searchlight. These are actually part of Vulpes Inculta's legion squad from Nipton.
Notable loot
- Sunset Sarsaparilla star bottle cap in the trailer's broken fridge.
- Also in the trailer: ammunition box, duffel bag, armor case, healing powder and a first aid box. (Armor case usually contains leather armor.)
Notes
- Up to 3 maize may be harvested from the corn patch.
- Sometimes a tiny skeleton will spawn in the trailer, presumably a child, possibly a premature infant, (the skeleton is very small compared to that of a normal child's or infant).
- A ramp gives access to the roof for sniping, but there is no cover.
- Although a farmstead, there is no campfire.
- You may encounter Legion mongrels instead of Legionaries or Vipers, but this is rare.
- If you helped Private Edwards leave Camp Searchlight, he may spontaneously appear and assist you in killing the Viper spawns.
- Usually, there will be at least one Viper gunslinger wearing metal armor.
- The Vipers at this location will respawn after every 3 days.
- Vipers will some times spawn non hostile to the player if he or she fast travels there.
