The pulse grenade is a weapon in Fallout 4.
Characteristics
The pulse grenade emits a burst of energy that greatly damages mechanical enemies.
While it is effective versus the various robotic enemies in the Commonwealth, it is much more rarely encountered than the strictly superior plasma grenade, limiting its usefulness unless enough investment in the Demolition Expert skill is made to be able to create them and substantial resources are committed to manufacturing the grenades in significant numbers rather than merely scavenging them. It does however have the advantage of being cheaper when crafted than the plasma grenade.
Unlike previous versions, these pulse grenades inflict damage over time rather than all at once which can make them tricky to use versus fast moving robot models such as the Mister Handy, Assaultron, and even the Sentry bot.
