actor: None
dialogue file:

The Professor's radscorpion is an intelligent radscorpion genetically engineered by the insane Professor from Broken Hills. The scorpion is an avid chess player.

[edit] Notes

  • Seymour, the talking spore plant, can help the Chosen One beat the radscorpion at chess by teling him or her to use the Flying Liver Attack. After defeating the radscorpion with the Flying Liver Attack, it will begin to attack the player, forcing you to either run or kill it. If you reenter the building after fleeing, it should not be hostile again. Killing the radscorpion will cause the professor to say "Why did you kill my radscorpion? I was so close, so close!" Oddly enough, he will not attack you in revenge of his fallen scorpion.
  • The radscorpion can be used to receive 1500 exp. total by talking to the professor and taking three different tests that give you 500 exp. each for tying with the radscorpion. It appears to be impossible to win any but the Intelligence test, the chess game, regardless of stats. The other two test your Perception and Agility.

[edit] Appearances

This radscorpion appears only in Fallout 2.
