The Pristine Nuka-Cola Machine is a house improvement for your Megaton house or Tenpenny Tower Suite.
[edit] Obtaining
It can be acquired from Moira Brown in Megaton for your house, or Lydia Montenegro for the suite. (Michael Masters, if you let the ghouls in during the Tenpenny Tower Quest.) It's base value is 500 bottle caps, 662 caps at 50 Barter, 550 caps at 100 Barter, and 500 if you have the Master Trader perk.

The Nuka-Cola machine allows you to turn your Nuka-Cola into Ice Cold Nuka-Cola, which heals you for 20 HP instead of 10 (24 instead of 12 with the Food Sanitizer). This won't make you any money, however, because Ice Cold Nuka-Cola sells for the same 20 caps as regular Nuka-Cola.
In addition to the machine, you also get 8 Nuka-Colas, a Nuka-Cola Bottle Lamp and a Nuka-Cola Clock. Although it is called "pristine," there are many blackened areas on the machine. The "pristine" condition may refer to the machine having a functional refrigeration system after 200 years.
It's also very useful as an extra storage device, for those who like to keep their items separated. This is the only way to obtain extra storage space in your purchased home (without buying the Vault theme, which adds a locker). Nuka-Cola can be put into the machine as if it were an ordinary container to avoid turning them Ice Cold.

- Sierra Petrovita also has one in her home, however you cannot pick it and the key doesn't exist.
- Sierra Petovita's Nuka Cola machine can be opened with the UNLOCK console command.
- Caution! Ice Cold Nuka-Cola's cannot be turned into Nuka Cola Quantum's with the Quantum Chemist Perk!
- Instead of the "place all my nuka-cola's into the machine" option, if you manually insert nuka-cola's they will not become ice-cold.
