Many creatures bear poison in their fangs and stings. One of the most common sources for poison in the Wasteland is the poison of the radscorpion.

Poison can be healed by a potion of antidote, or with rest, as the poison will leave the player's system after a period of time. The perks Snakeater and Vault City Inoculations modify your Poison Resistance.
Fallout: New Vegas

This condition has returned and when poisoned, you will receive the message "you feel a little woozy" along with a drop in your health. This can be cured over time or with antivenom, it can also be prevented entirely with a high Endurance (Poison Resistance).
Bugs

When using Fixer to gain temporary relief from addictions, you will sometimes get the message "You feel a little woozy", coupled with the sound effect for poison.
