Like plasma grenades, plasma mines offer a powerful combination of ballistic damage and energy damage. Crafting this explosive also requires considerable skill and some rare components.
Damage boosting perks such as Demolition Expert and Bloody Mess only affect the primary, ballistic portion of the damage dealt by this weapon. The energy damage portion receives no bonus.
