Planned Diversion Programming was a pre-War company that had developed the video games Atomic Command in 2071 and Automatron in 2072.

Background[]

Little is known about the company aside from its products. It is listed as the correct answer to the question "Which studio developed the classic holotape games Atomic Command and Automatron?" in the collector exam at the Pioneer Scout camp.[1]

Appearances[]

Planned Diversion Programming is mentioned in Fallout 4, its add-on Automatron, as well as in Fallout 76 and its Wild Appalachia update.

Behind the scenes[]

Planned Diversion Programming is a nod to the PDP series of computers, as the PDP-1 was used to make Spacewar!, one of the first digital games.
