The pillory is made of wood and its design consists of a central support with an opening section on it. There are holes for a persons arms and head located on the top section.
- Assigning a person to a pillory for the first time will grant the Time Out Achievement/Trophy.
- If you assign Marcy, Jun, Mama Murphy, or Sturges to a pillory their scripted A.I. will make them leave the pillory every now and again to go hammer the yellow house that the workshop is in. Other NPC such as settlers and even companions will stay in the pillory.
Behind the scenesEdit
During the Middle Ages the pillory was a device used for punishment of criminals by public humiliation. Passers-by were free to mock the criminals or to further physical abuse by throwing rotten fruits at them.
