That Lucky Old Sun: PYTHON may be utilized to repair the wiring and bring the auxiliary generator online. A Science skill of 45 or a Poseidon Energy employee ID card (which can be found in a room next to a skeleton behind an average locked door requiring 50 Lockpick to open) is required to activate it.
After activation it will move towards the generator, repair it, and return back to an inactive state beside the generator. If the generator is repaired, attempting to activate PYTHON will result in a message saying there is nothing left in the room to repair.
ps3xbox360 PYTHON can be destroyed each time you enter the room, making it an easy way to farm scrap metal or complete certain challenges. It won't show up on the compass nor can you target it with V.A.T.S. Turning PYTHON to ash or goo will destroy it permanently. [verified]
ps3xbox360pc Activating PYTHON after fixing the generator yourself may result in Python heading to the generator and attempting to fix it anyway. After this occurs, a second message will appear informing the player that the wire has been repaired. [verified]
ps3xbox360pc After fixing PYTHON, if the player leaves and re-enters the tower, PYTHON is going to shut down and does not respond to any action. [verified]
pc If PYTHON is killed during it's repair process, the electrical arcs jumping from it to the wiring will continue and the repair process will still complete. It is currently unknown what other platforms this may occur on. [verification needed]
pc If the player can activate PYTHON and then quickly make their way downstairs and repair the wires (gaining experience for both in the process), PYTHON will still go to repair the wiring. [verification needed]
