- You can ask to use her workbenches which she will agree to, although it is not necessary as they can be used regardless of whether or not she has been asked. There is a weapons and an armor workbench by her store, and a cooking station in the alley, downstairs from the other two workbenches.
- Her store is located up a narrow, lit alley, most easily located by traveling about a block south from the back doors of Faneuil Hall and turning right under the overhead BosCom billboard, and Opal herself is found up the stairs. The alley is guarded by a spotlight and two Mark VII turrets (all friendly).
- A safe, locked with an Expert lock, is located at the back of the alley in a decrepit clothes store, guarded by two trip wires hooked to a grenade bouquet and a gun brace. Opening the safe does not make her hostile. Various items of clothing, consisting of a small variety of suits and hats, can be found on the store shelves.
- Her alleyway is marked by a Railroad ally symbol, which would make her a member of the Railroad (possibly a "tourist") or at least friendly to them. Although she is not hostile after destroying the Railroad.
Opal appears only in Fallout 4.
