The New Amended Espionage Act is an act of Congress that replaced the Espionage Act of 1917 in Title 50 of the United States Code. Like the preceding act, it prohibited any attempt to interfere with military operations, to support America's enemies during wartime, to promote insubordination in the military, or to interfere with military recruitment.

Examples of useEdit

  • As the Vault Dweller's Survival Guide contained information affecting the national defense of the United States within the meaning of the act, transmission or the revelation of its contents in any manner to an unauthorised person was prohibited by the law.
  • The containment door in Warrington station separating Tenpenny Tower from the Metro tunnels below for emergencies holds a disclaimer on a computer terminal explaining the prohibition of unauthorised use under the New Amended Espionage Act, listing a fine of $500 and possible imprisonment.
