Museum Station, or Smithsonian, is part of the Metro system under the Capital Wasteland. It's under The Mall and gives an underground passage to and between Museum of History and Museum of Technology.
The station is part of a long underground network which goes from the Collapsed Car Tunnel at the back of the GNR Building all the way down to the Anacostia Crossing Station at Rivet City.
The name of this station, where it is identified as Smithsonian, appeared on an advertisement for the Metro.

- Chinese Army: Special Ops Training Manual in a box in the ladies bathroom along with some Buffout and some Jet near the exit to the Museum of American History. There is some Rad-X on the sink in same room.
- Grognak the Barbarian on a table near the exit to Metro Central (next to the electrically operated floor hatch)

This station is inhabited only by a few nameless Raiders, equipped with the usual raider inventory.

There are some beds to rest at on ground floor near the Museum Station entrance.
