It saddens me to think how quickly we resort to violence.

Mother Maya is an inhabitant of Megaton in 2277.

Mother Maya was born in 2236. She is 41 and Confessor Cromwell's female counterpart. She and Cromwell are actually husband and wife, but they don't go out of their way to advertise the fact, because they're both so busy promoting the ideals of church.[1]

Even though she is 41 at the time of Fallout 3, she appears to be elderly and in her 70s, most likely from the exposure to radiation, prolonged exposure to sunlight, and lack of clean drinking water.

Maya is the wife of Confessor Cromwell.

Notable quotesEdit

  • "It saddens me to think how quickly we resort to violence."
  • "I'm not one to gossip, but I do know a few things. For instance, did you hear that Lucas wants someone to disarm our bomb? Imagine the blasphemy! I can't believe it! I mean, I don't believe it. He would never do that to us."
  • "We should stay our course, dearest husband. Atom's power penetrates us all, does it not? Soon, every soul of Megaton will revel in His glory!"

Mother Maya appears only in Fallout 3.

ps3Icon ps3 If Lucas Simms and/or Cromwell are killed, she will not mention anything about their death and talk as if they are still alive. [verified]
