Unlike other drinks, its effects are not modified by high Survival skill. It is much better to consume this while having Cass as a companion as she will negate the negative effects of alcohol, making it a much better drink. |

Moonshine is a consumable item in Fallout: New Vegas.
Characteristics
Moonshine is a consumable item in Fallout: New Vegas. It raises Charisma and Strength by 2 points each but reduces Intelligence by 2. It also increases Dehydration by 25 for those playing on hardcore mode. It has a duration of 4 minutes.
Moonshine can be crafted at a campfire after Cass gives the player the Cass's moonshine recipe, which requires a Survival skill of 75 to make on your own. However, she can mix the item herself without the need of a campfire, with the required ingredients, of course.
Unlike other drinks, its effects are not modified by high Survival skill. It is much better to consume this while having Cass as a companion as she will negate the negative effects of alcohol, making it a much better drink.
Moonshine's effects stack with other alcohols such as beer.
