The mining detonator is a weapon in the Fallout: New Vegas add-on, Honest Hearts.

Characteristics

It is used to detonate the pre-placed explosives in the yao guai cave during the quest "River Monsters". It appears identical to the regular detonator and is weightless.

Variants

• Detonator, the standard detonator used to set off C-4.
• Loyal's detonator, used in the quest Volare!.
• Broken detonator, can be found in the Little Yangtze Watchtower. It is considered a miscellaneous item.

• Given to you by Daniel when you accept the quest River Monsters.

Notes

• As this is a quest item, it cannot be removed or placed in a container. It will be removed from the player at the beginning of the Gathering Storms quest.
