The mess hall & munitions storage is a location within Nellis Air Force Base in the Mojave Wasteland. It is located in the northern section of the base, next to the Nellis hangars.

Layout

Inside the mess hall is the Boomer munitions manager's store at the north-west end of the hall way, there are various explosive weapons such as mines and missile launcher inside the store. Near the west entrance is an entrance to a kitchen with some Boomer chefs inside. In the middle of the hall are tables and chairs, as well as several Boomers eating. A couple of VR pods, similar to the Tranquility Loungers from Fallout 3, can be found at the southern part of the mess hall.

Notable loot

  • Two Sunset Sarsaparilla star bottle caps on the eastern most table
  • Inside the Boomer munitions manager's store at the north west end of the hallway a mini nuke can be found. It is in a box on the top, right hand shelf at the back, and must be stolen.
  • Near the western end of the building, there are many ammunition crates that primarily house missiles. All together, there are over 100 missiles scattered throughout various crates, all of which must be stolen.
    • As of patch 1.4.0.525, fewer missiles appear in the crates. It is still possible to find 15-20 missiles and various other ammunition, however.

Notes

Due to the primary weapons of the Boomers being explosive based, the Sunset Sarsparilla star bottle caps can easily be scattered by explosions, should the Boomers become hostile.

Appearances

The mess hall & munitions storage appears only in Fallout: New Vegas.
