The Medical Brace is a junk item which can be found in various locations through out the Capital Wasteland, most notably used as a necessary component for creating the Deathclaw Gauntlet.

[edit] Characteristics
There are actually two items called "Medical Brace". The first one is the one used for the Deathclaw Gauntlet, while the second one is a junk item only found in Raven Rock. They can be distinguished from each other by looking at their "value"-number: if it worth 10, then it is the real thing, if it is worth 1, then it cannot be used to create custom weapons.
Regardless, both kinds of "Medical Brace" can be loaded into the Rock-It Launcher and used as ammunition.

- Medical braces are a semi-common item and can be found in many places within the game, especially doctor's clinics.
- One can be found in the basement in Tenpenny Tower
- One can be found in a First Aid Kit in the left-behind room when you enter Tenpenny Tower, you will need the key for this.
- At least 2 can be found in Lucky's which is southwest of Tenpenny tower. Can be hard to spot, one is directly under the Hard Terminal on the counter to the right of the entrance.
- A medical brace can be found in the Super Duper Mart in the room with the Protectron in stasis on the table with the computer to activate it.
- One can be found in Hamilton's Hideaway, in the northernmost room with a normal door, slightly to the east of the locked grating.
- One can be found in Springvale School at the room with the students desks immediately to the right when you enter the school on the desk.
- One can be found in the National Archives on a desk in the second room in the basement; near the hallway with the engine swinging from a chain.
- One can be found at Minefield, near the mattress where Arkansas snipes at you.
- One can be found in the Gibson House at Minefield, on the shelf in the children's room.
- Our Lady of Hope Hospital contains an exceptionally large amount of medical braces.
- A room in the living quarters of Vault 87 (Presumably a clinic) contains three braces.
- Two to three(random #)inside Pinkerton's Office in the Bow of Rivet City right in the shelf next to his operation table across from his Terminal
- One can be found in Minefield in the Benson House upstairs in the children's room underneath the bunk-bed, close-by where Arkansas snipes at you.
- There is one in Lucas Simms' House in Megaton.
