Maybe (by The Ink Spots) was the song that played during the intro of Fallout. Black Isle intended to use "I Don't Want to Set the World on Fire" by The Ink Spots for the theme song, but couldn't license the song because of a copyright issue. This song was later licensed by Bethesda for Fallout 3. The song also plays from time to time on Galaxy News Radio. Also, in Fallout 2, a man named Martin sings a quarter of the song in Vault 8.
