Mat was a caravan driver in the Hub during 2161.

Mat has no known background. A caravan driver for the Hub, Mat answered questions for the Vault Dweller.

When the Vault Dweller firsts enters the Hub, the player may talk to Mat, for information about the caravans of the Hub, and where they go, Junktown, Brotherhood, Shady Sands, and "various other places".
