You have mastered one aspect of bartering - the ability to buy goods far cheaper than a normal person. With this Perk, you get a 25% discount when purchasing items from a store or another trader.

NotesEdit

• The Fallout 2 manual incorrectly states that this perk makes your own items more valuable, and that the Barter requirement is 60%.

Fallout 3Edit

You have mastered one aspect of bartering - the ability to buy goods far cheaper than a normal person. With this Perk, you get a 25% discount when purchasing items from a store or another trader.

NotesEdit

• Allows for expanded dialogue options when discussing business arrangements outside of the barter system. Especially applicable when speaking with Uncle Roe of Canterbury Commons, see Merchant Empire for details.

• Once you have attained this perk and the 60 Barter necessary for it, most vendors will already be selling you their items at the lowest cost (Base Value). Also, note that increasing your barter further will only increase the value of the items you sell.

LionheartEdit

With this perk, you get a 25% discount when purchasing items from a store or trader, and you add 10 points to your Speech skill.
