Marshall is one of the most boastful and hot headed salvagers at The New Camp. Self centered and disorganized, Marshall's arrogance and his flaunting of past luck with women annoy many of the salvagers during their findings in the Denver crawls. Marshall tends to clumsily make loud noises when he salvages, which causes quick attention from the starving dogs that roam the city. His cursory skills of scavenging causes great trouble for the salvagers by bringing unwanted attention from the dangers that lurk in the city.
Porter insists on keeping Marshall around for his sturdy diligence and his hand on combat with conflicting radiated dogs. In the side quest "His Bark is Worse Than His Bite," the Prisoner is able to challenge Marshall to a one on one unarmed combat. If The Prisoner is victorious, Marshall will forfeit his greatly treasured power fist, along with finally keeping him quiet in shame and a good boost in Karma with the salvagers. The salvagers will also congratulate you on your win and give you some of their rations.
Marshall has not appeared nor is he mentioned in any published game. Marshall was to appear in the canceled Fallout 3 project by Black Isle codenamed Van Buren. It is not certain if he will appear in any future Fallout game.
