Mark Morgan composed the Fallout soundtrack and Fallout 2 soundtrack.
Previously stated in an interview, Mark Morgan admitted that one of his musical influences was Aphex Twin. The similarities between Aphex Twin's double-cd album "Selected Ambient Works Vol. 2" and the soundtrack to Fallout are uncanny. These similarities include the Worldmap music (similar to SAW II's Windowsill), The Glow to Hankie, and Necropolis to Tassels. Other tracks found include White Blur, Grey Stripe and Grass respectively.
An additional influence is Brian Eno, particularly "Music for Films" track "Alternative 3" which is closely similar to Vats of Goo.
