The mantis ootheca is a container in Fallout: New Vegas

CharacteristicsEdit

Mantis oothecas are egg masses made by giant mantises. While normally empty, they may contain mantis eggs.

LocationsEdit

• Two of these containers can be found in the Goodsprings schoolhouse.
• Six of them can be found in Vault 22.

NotesEdit

Shooting a mantis ootheca destroys it and results in several giant mantis nymphs spawning in its place. This will always result in the destruction of any items that may be inside.
