The MFC cluster is an Explosives skill weapon added by the Fallout: New Vegas add-on, Gun Runners' Arsenal.

Characteristics

It is essentially a clump of wired-up microfusion cells wrapped in rubber and rigged to explode like tiny plasma mines. They bounce off surfaces when thrown and can cover a large distance very quickly. Mines that have not detonated can be disarmed and added back into the player's inventory as MFC grenades.

Is also a concealable holdout weapon so long as your sneak skill is 50 or greater.

Notes

• Like the gas bomb, MFC clusters are mines that can be either placed or thrown. They cannot be used in V.A.T.S.
