The MDPL-05 power station is one of the many power stations located in the Capital Wasteland. This power station can be found on the fault-block mountain in the far reaches of the northwest corner of the map, south-east to Raven Rock and north-northeast of SatCom Array NW-07c.
Layout
This power station is secured by fences and two locked gates, yet the fence along the mountainside is knocked down, allowing players to access without unlocking either gate. Inside the fence lies the skeletal remains of a technician, a workman's toolbox, and various items. The workman may have driven to the site as there is a car just outside of the power station, a notable fact is that if you follow the road up to the power station from the bridge you will find all the components needed for the railway rifle.
Notable loot
- Dart gun schematics near the skeleton of the technician.
- The toolbox next to the skeleton contains the MDPL-05 power station key to the gates.
- Dean's Electronics: Near the skeleton of the technician.
Appearances
The MDPL-05 Power Station appears only in Fallout 3.
