[edit] Notes
- She appears to be a polite person (especially compared to the standards of the Wasteland), as when greeted she will reply in a polite tone "Hello there, nice to see you."
- If you speak to her after visiting Arefu and discover the fate of her family, she will thank you. Bear in mind this may have a negative karma reward if you have not found Ian West.
- If you kill Evan King, she will refuse to engage in conversation with you.
- If you kill the vampires after finishing "Blood Ties," Lucy West will only say: 'I heard about your little killing spree in Arefu, get the hell away from me!'
- After finishing her quest with the best possible ending where Ian comes home, the Family didn't get killed, and you talk politely when talking to her, she tells you "anytime you find yourself back in Megaton, be sure and look me up."
- Lucy West and Sarah Lyons look quite alike.
- Lucy west has been seen inside the the church of atom although no dialogue suests this (confirmed PS3)
[edit] Quotes
"I heard about your little killing spree in Arefu, get the hell away from me!" "anytime you find yourself back in Megaton, be sure and look me up."
[edit] Bugs
- Lucy may disappear if the player kills the vampires in Blood Ties and also kills the people living in Arefu. Her house in Megaton becomes empty, however her possessions are still highlighted in red, meaning loss of karma if stolen. (unconfirmed)
- Lucy can occasionally be found dead near Mr Burke's House in Megaton. Her corpse can be looted and her house can be searched. Her possessions will appear red, so they will have to be stolen and thus you will lose karma for taking any items. (Confirmed on PS3)
- Will sometimes say "I heard about your little killing Spree in Arefu, get away from me!" after completing Blood Ties, even though no vampires or residents of Arefu were harmed. (Confirmed Xbox360). If you fast travel back to Arefu all the residents will be marked as enemy's and fighting Alan. This also can occur if a Giant Radscorpion spawns in Arefu (see the Giant Radscorpion article for more information).
- Lucy may be seen upon the stand bridge where Stockholm is guarding Megaton. Once she is up there she may not come down. She will just stand pacing back and forth, and when people turn hostile against you in Megaton, she will just crouch in the position if somebody scared. (Confirmed on PS3)
[edit] Appearances
Lucy West appears only in Fallout 3.
[edit] Behind the scenes
Given how the quest she gives involves a vampire-like group of people, her name might be a reference to the character Lucy Westenra from the novel Dracula.
