Loyal's detonator is considered a weapon in Fallout: New Vegas, but it does not inflict damage.
Characteristics
Used in the quest Volare!, in conjunction with the deployable ballast to raise the Crashed B-29 out of Lake Mead.

- Detonator
- Mining detonator, used to collapse the cave in River Monsters in the Honest Hearts add-on.
A broken detonator can be found in the Little Yangtze watchtower and is considered a miscellaneous item.- Laser detonator, a laser illumination used to detonate the nuclear warheads in The Divide.

Given to you by Loyal at Nellis Air Force Base.
Notes
- Though it is a variant of the normal detonator, Loyal's detonator cannot be used to detonate C-4 plastic explosives.
- Once you complete Volare!, you will have Loyal's detonator taken away.
