[edit] In-game description

This all-American, hardwood, baseball bat will knock anything right out of the park.

[edit] Location

Reward for completing the quest to bust up Wright's still.

[edit] Notes

One of the best melee weapons, second only to the Super Sledge. A good mid-game choice for melee characters. One minor disadvantage is that, like Super Sledge, it gives quite a large knockback, thus you may end up having to chase your critter to hit it more than once a turn. That said, it is great for crowd controlling some melee critters such as golden geckos, because if you do not move, they will have to move closer to you again to hit you, and more often than not, results in attacking less times a turn. If you decide to use this weapon often, Bonus Move perk is very useful helping you keeping up with your target with minimal loss of attacks per turn, as well as getting close to your targets fast at the start of combat.

[edit] Behind the scenes

  • This is named for the real-life Baseball Bat company, Louisville Slugger, famous for their hard-hitting Bats, and the most sold baseball bat brand in the United States.
