Lincoln's Repeater is an American Civil War .44 Henry rifle with a 15-round capacity found in Fallout 3.

- An easy way to collect .44 ammo for this gun is by completing The Pitt and using your spare ammo to make .44 ammo at the Ammo press.
- Although the Sniper Rifle has greater range, the nature of the game's combat system makes shots fired outside of V.A.T.S. tend to miss due to the field of view setting. Because Lincoln's Repeater lacks a scope, this does not apply to this particular weapon. Shots go exactly where aimed due to the zero spread, assuming you have 100 Small Guns.
- The weapon can be repaired with a .32 Hunting Rifle.
- The weapon can also be repaired with Ol' Painless but cannot be done vice-versa. (Confirmed on all systems)
- It is similar to the Lever-Action Rifle and the Backwater Rifle that appears in Point Lookout .
- If used in V.A.T.S., this rifle will generally be quite "musical" in terms of the ringing one hears after each shot. There is least 3 different tones.
[edit] Quest Related
- During the Head of State quest, you are tasked with finding a picture of the Lincoln Memorial. Since this picture is located on the same wall as the "Giant Hole in the wall" that leads to the rifle, to save time it is best to take up the quest so you can get the picture and rifle all in one trip.
- The player can also sell this to Leroy Walker, who occupies Lincoln Memorial and will destroy it to erase Lincoln's legacy. Otherwise, Hannibal Hamlin will buy it (in mint condition) at the Temple of the Union for 150 caps, or 300 caps if a speech check is passed, after receiving the Head of State quest; he will enshrine it. Besides these two, the player can sell it to Abraham Washington in Rivet City. Note that the price may be a lot less than its specified value (which is dependent on condition).

Lincoln's Repeater is located, in perfect condition, inside of a display case in the top floor of the Museum of American History offices.

The Henry Rifle given to Abraham Lincoln during his presidency.
- This weapon is based on the Henry Rifle, firing a .44 caliber black powder rimfire cartridge (known as a .44 Henry round), although the rifle in the game has a wooden handguard on the forend, very similar to a Winchester Model 1866, which the actual Henry 1860 did not have. Though the .44 Magnum round is very similar in dimensions to the .44 Henry, the pressure from the modern cartridge would be far too much for the firing chamber to handle, unless it were loaded with a greatly reduced propellant charge; also, the rifle's bolt and firing pin would have to be replaced to accommodate the newer centerfire round. The specific example referenced in the game, with its engraved gold mounting and serial number 6, was given to President Lincoln by the New Haven Arms Company (the manufacturer of the Henry) in hopes that it would influence the purchase of the rifles for use in the Civil War. However, the weapon was deemed too ineffective and heavy for use in the Civil War.
- The actual Henry Rifle is suspended in a glass case along with a telegraph machine in the Smithsonian.
- Lincoln has his initials carved into the gold part of the rifle.
