Template:Weapon
Light Support Weapon is a squad-level support weapon with a bullpup design. The bullpup design makes it difficult to use while lying down. Because of this it was remanded to National Guard units. It, however, earned a reputation as a reliable weapon that packs a lot of punch for its size.
This weapon is like the Bozar, but less powerful. It uses the same ammo, but does less damage and fires less ammo (10 vs the Bozar's 15) per burst. This can be good however, if you want to save ammo, or want to fire 3 times before reloading as opposed to the Bozar's 2. It works pretty much the same way as the Bozar otherwise. Use it to save ammo and/or to engage multiple, weaker targets (that the Bozar would be overkill on) more quickly.
Locations
Claim Jumpers and the people they fight on Redding caravans carry Light Support Weapons sometimes. You can buy them from the San Francisco shop keeper sometimes too. Buster in the NCR Bazaar also has some for sale every once in a while.
Behind the scenes
Though never named in game, the LSW is modeled after the troubled L86A1.
