Leather Belts are a common item used to make Deathclaw Gauntlets.

- A leather belt can be found in the SW storage room in the Super Duper Mart on a rack.
- Another can be found in Megaton, on a shelf at the back of the armory.
- In the room with the broken door, located in Fort Independence.
- One can be found in the Gibson House at Minefield, on the shelf in the children's room.
- In the Tenpenny Tower lobby enter the door immediately to the left, to the metro and generator. In this room are 2 leather belts and some wonderglue
- In the library in the room were you download the card catalog and the library archives. There's one in the back right corner on a desk with a jet and blood pack.
- Seagrave Holmes has one for sale occasionally at the Rivet City Market.
- Leather belts are also randomly found within containers across the Capital wasteland.
