The Wattz 2000 laser rifle is an energy weapon in Fallout and Fallout 2.

CharacteristicsEdit

Having a very long range and acute accuracy, the laser rifle can be effectively used in long distance combat. However, many enemies have a lot of resistance to laser weapons, and as such the laser weapons are rendered much weaker against more formidable adversaries such as Enclave troops (the advanced power armor Mk2 has 90% resistance against laser damage, for example). Accurate critical hits over a long distance are the Wattz 2000's strongest selling point.

In Fallout 2, it may be upgraded with a recycling chip, doubling the magazine size.
