The La Longue Carabine is a unique weapon in Fallout: New Vegas. It is a unique variant of the cowboy repeater. It is carried by Corporal Sterling in Camp McCarran.
Characteristics
It has a scope mounted on the rifle. This rifle also reloads significantly faster than a regular cowboy repeater. La Longue Carabine cannot be modified using cowboy repeater mods. It already has one mod attached, the extended feeder magazine.
Locations
Can be found in Camp McCarran near El Rey Motel, it is carried by an old Ranger by the name of Corporal Sterling.
Corporal Sterling is primarily located in Camp Forlorn Hope. He is also part of the quest I Don't Hurt Anymore and killing him for the rifle will forfeit the quest.
Appearances
The La Longue Carabine appears in Fallout: New Vegas.
Behind the scenes
"La Longue Carabine" is a French phrase meaning "The Long Carbine." It is also a reference to the James Fenimore Cooper novel, the Last of the Mohicans, in which the main characters' rifle is dubbed this by the Iroquois, although Hawkeye (the owner of the rifle) calls it KillDeere.
