Katja is a recruitable NPC in Fallout. She is a scavenger living in the LA Boneyards, occassionally camping out with the Followers of the Apocalypse, but doesn't follow their way of life.
How to recruit Katja: Go to LA Boneyard and head on up to the Library. You'll find her standing amongst the Followers of the Apocalypse. She is a scavenger, and will join you if you ask her.

- Armor: Metal Armor.
- Weapons: Small guns, throwing weapons, grenades.
- Excellent with the 14mm pistol.
- Special: She can lockpick doors.
- She will attack you if you've fought people in Shady Sands before recruiting her.
- Rating: Decent support character, but weak front liner.
