Kate Leavitt was an employee working for Nuka-Cola Corporation before the Great War.
Background
She was one of the people working in Nuka-Cola bottling plant's secret lab on the new Nuka-Cola Quantum recipe. Unlike most of her colleagues, she thought that the recipe should be tested more and that the glowing urine caused by the isotope strontium-90 was a disturbing effect.[1] She did not want to continue working on Project Cobalt after the Great War, and was shot and killed by Rex Meacham upon trying to leave.[2]
Her voice can be heard on three tapes of the Meacham recordings.
Notes
It is unknown whether the female skeleton in the Secure beverageer lab belongs to Kate Leavitt or Ruth.
Appearances
Kate Leavitt is mentioned only in the Fallout 4 add-on Nuka-World.
Behind the scenes
The following is based on unverified behind the scenes information and may be inaccurate. |
Kate Leavitt's name is an amalgamation of the names of Dr. Ruth Leavitt, one of the protagonists of the 1971 science fiction movie The Andromeda Strain, and the actor that portrays her, Kate Reid. She shares this trait with her fellow secure beverageer scientists.
