"(Hep-Hep!) The Jumpin' Jive" is a song that was broadcast on Appalachia Radio in Fallout 76. It was written by Cab Calloway, Frank Froeba and Jack Palmer. The version that played was the original 1939 version.[1] It played on the radio during the first Xbox B.E.T.A. phase of the game, but was patched out upon release.
Background[]
The song was recorded for the Vocalion record label on July 17, 1939, and was released that year.[2]
The New York session personnel included Cab Calloway (vocals and director), Doc Cheatham, Irving Randolph, Lammar Wright, Mario Bauza (trumpet), Claude Jones, DePriest Wheeler, Keg Johnson (trombone), Andrew Brown, Chauncey Haughton (clarinet/alto sax), Chu Berry, Walter Thomas (tenor sax), Bennie Payne (piano), Danny Barker (guitar), Milton Hinton (string bass), Cozey Cole (drums).[3]
