John is an inhabitant of the Capital Wasteland in 2277.
Background
John was always an intelligent sort, although he never brought enough equipment with him to survive out in the wasteland. Moira Brown told him as much. He was recently mauled to death by vicious dogs. A quick search of his body reveals a note about treasure buried somewhere near the Scrapyard.[1]

Quests
- More Than Just Scrap: John is encountered with three vicious dogs nearby and gets killed by them. Sometimes he is encountered already dead. He holds John's key and the wastelander note. The key unlocks an ammunition box with three skill books at the Scrapyard.
