As soon as you enter this mission, the Scouter will be right next to you. The only weapon that you should have is the M249 SAW. Put a teammate inside the Scouter and have him/her go up until he/she sees super mutants. Then go back to the rest of your squad and attack the mutants in aggresive mode. Take the Scouter again and go right till you see more mutants, then come back and take them out. Go to generator 1 and take out the mutants guarding it, then destroy it. Leave the Scouter behind and look for some mutants near the 1st set of barricades. (There are also some mutants south of the barricades so don't let them surprise you.) After you take out all the mutants Go back to the Scouter and go to generator 2, taking out all the mutants who get in your way. (NOTE: If your Scouter takes too much damage, just get your best repairman, have him/her take out a tool kit, and then have him/her repair your Scouter to mint condition.) Be very cautious, near generator 2 are super mutants and turrents. Don't attack the turrents full force beacuse you'll die. Go to the left side of the destroyed building and sneak your way past the turrent. After you open the door you might either get a super mutant who will surprise you, or no mutants at all. After you destroy generator 2, take your Scouter and squad to generator 3. You will come across another barricade with some mutants so take them out, and destroy the barricades. When you see a narrow doorway, leave your Scouter and proceed on foot to generator 3. There will be a considerable amount of super mutants in this area so be loaded. When you see the generator, just destroy it. (If it's behind a door, then unlock it by a switch, or lockpick.) After that's done, go to generator 4. You'll come across the super mutant commander so take her out, then go inside the building. You'll see a friendly mutant who asks you to NOT destory his experiments. You decide what you wanna do with the lab. After your done, go upstairs and destroy the last generator. You're done. After the exit grid appears, go back to your Scouter and go to the exit grid. (Mission Complete)

Jefferson is a location in Fallout Tactics, which can be reached from Bunker Gamma.

Background

The rubble-strewn city of Jefferson is what remains of Jefferson City, Missouri. One of Gammorin's super mutant staging areas was located there. The mutants had a semi-permanent military base in the ruins of Jefferson.

Around 2197, after General Simon Barnaky was taken prisoner by Toccomatta, the Brotherhood of Steel sent a squad to Jefferson believing the structure to be a weapons manufacturing plant. The Warrior's objective was to render all of the power generators permanently inoperative. During the last minutes of siege, the female super mutant commander was killed.

As it turned out, the super mutants were not manufacturing weapons, but were working on a cure to the super mutant sterility. Erkal, the mutant scientist runs a lab full of mutant freaks - his guinea pigs - and other test subjects in glass containers. This laboratory was either destroyed or taken over by the Brotherhood (depending on the player's actions during the mission).
