Jake Juice is a very rare consumable item in Fallout: New Vegas.
Characteristics
Despite being a rare version of scotch, it has exactly the same effects and value as scotch.
Locations
- You can find 2 bottles of Jake Juice in the Recreation Room of the Lucky 38 Presidential Suite on the table with the Ham radio. Sometimes only 1 of the 2 bottles will spawn as Jake Juice, the other being the regular Scotch.
- A bottle of Jake Juice may appear in your companion's inventory upon retrieving them from the Lucky 38 Presidential Suite.
- In the Lucky 38 cocktail lounge 1 Bottle of Jake Juice is on the top shelf behind the bar.
Notes
The name "Jake Juice" could be a vague reference to "Jack Daniels" whiskey, as implied by being a type of scotch whiskey. This, however, has not yet been investigated. Also, this is dubious considering Jack Daniels is in fact a Tennessee whiskey, unless a mistake was made on the developers part.
However, Jake may also refer to Jamaica ginger, which was used during the Prohibition as a drink, being 70-80% ethanol by weight. It was nicknamed "Jake" during the time period, since Jamaica ginger was also considered illicit.
