Dr. J. MacDonald was a senior physician employed by the Nuka-Cola Corporation before the Great War.
Background[]
Dr. J. MacDonald oversaw the infirmary at Nuka-Town USA as Nuka-World's senior physician and had a mild approach to reminding the team to clean up the frequent Nuka-Cola spills around the clinic.[1]
On September 19, 2077, in order to interview new nurse candidates later in the week, Dr. MacDonald rescheduled Dr. Michaels for the 23rd and 24th.[2] MacDonald had also planned to hire on a dedicated dentist to treat frequent tooth pain ailments, having previously asked Hoffman for the position.[3]
When Dr. MacDonald left Nuka-World for a two-week European vacation in late September,[4] Dr. Michaels and senior paramedic Del Walsh alternated as acting senior physician.[5] By October 4, MacDonald had returned to Nuka-World and attended an all-hands meeting for the formal announcement of Project Cobalt.[6]
After noticing a correlation between an influx of skin irritation cases and the activation of Nuka-Cola sprayers around the park,[7] MacDonald became nervous about the unknown side effects of Nuka-Cola Quantum ahead of its October 23 commericial debut.[8]
